In 1993, Janet expanded her business by taking over the old He-sa-tel-o Kennels on Jackson Road and renamed it Kelly Kennels, where she was able to board dogs, as well as offer pet grooming, until her lease expired in November, 2010. Following the expiration of her lease on Jackson Road, Janet closed Kelly Kennels and opened a new Full Service Dog Spa in Dexter, MI,Kelly’s Groom & Style.Being a true animal lover, Janet also performs animal rescue on the side! Janet started her non-profit Small Dog Rescue, Inc. in 1998.
